3 October in Mogilev history
- 1915. Emperor Nicholas II brings his son, Tsarevich Alexei, to the army headquarters in Mogilev, which served as the Russian Stavka from August 1915. Two days later father and son review a parade of the imperial escort on Governor's Square.
- 1941. The German occupiers shoot 2,208 Jews of the Mogilev ghetto at the Jewish (Mashekovka) cemetery. It was the second stage of the destruction of the ghetto, which began the day before.
